===Research Notes===* Best had originally identified Hans and Margreth as parents of Jacob Meyer (1658-1685). However, in her 1998 work,[Best, Jane Evans (1998). Meyer Families Update. Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage, April 1998] which she says supersedes all previous work, Best identifies this Jacob as the son of Baschi Meyer instead. It is possible that there has been some conflation or confusion. Work is ongoing to clarify.

:::Name: Margaretha Meÿer
:::Maiden Name: Möller
:::Gender: Weiblich (Female)
:::Relationship: Groom's Mother

:::Child: Hinrich Meÿer
* Online trees (unsourced) identify Margretha Kendig / Kundig (1633-1701) as the wife of Jacob Meyer (1636-1685). This probably arises from confusion and/or conflation of Jacob Meyer (1636-1685) with Hans Jacob Meyer (1618 - c.1678).
