In 1634 Jakob lived with his mother; in 1637 he lived with his wife and son in his mother's household in Bettswil; in 1640 he lived in Bettswil with his wife and two children; in 1646 he was an Anabaptist living in Bettswil with his brother's family; in 1649 he was an Anabaptist living in Wirzwil with his wife and six children; in 1651 he moved near Sinsheim, Germany, with his wife and seven children; in 1661 he lived in Steinsfurt and attended the Steinsfurt meeting; in 1683 he was called a "former citizen and Anabaptist at Steinsfurt." He had a brother named Hans Jagli who went with him to the Pfalz and is Best's GR5 Hans Jakob, baptized in Baretswil on June 15, 1623.
This profiled Jakob/Jagli appears in the 1661 parish records of Barentschweil, Zurich [8344 Baretswil] as follows:
Jagli Graf, Teufer [this profiled man], from Weertzweil, went in the year 1651 to the Pfalz with other Teuffer, to Sintzheim with his wife and 7 children, [not named in record.] Hans Jagli Graf, brother of the above, also went to Sintzheim in 1651 with his wife and one child and two young men named Hans Graf and Heinrich Brandenberger, both single. Best shows this profiled man having a son named Hans [GR31] baptized in Baretswil on December 6, 1636, not January 22, 1639 as shown on his profile ([[Graf-150|Hans Graf (bef.1639-)]]), which would make him about 15 in 1651 and about the right age to be the young man traveling with his father Jakob to Sintzheim.

[Best shows this Hans Jacob Graff as GR311, the grandson of this profiled man (GR3), and son of GR31.]
*m. 29 May 1683 Hans Ruth, widower and Widertauffer at Weyler, and Verena, widow of Hans Jacob Graff, former citizen and Widertauffer at Sintzheim. [Best shows this deceased Hans Jacob Graff as GR5, the brother of this profiled man.]
*m. 26 June 1683 at the Birckenhoff Heinrich Frey, Widertauffer, son of Felix Frey, former farmer at the Birckenhoff, and Elisabetha, daughter of Jacob Graff, former citizen and Widertauffer at Steinfurth. [Best shows this Elisabetha as GR30, daughter of this profiled man. Assuming that that is correct, since he is called "former" citizen, he had probably died by June 26, 1683.]
