=== Note ===
: Note: [Helen Everhart postem at Rootsweb Worldconnect]:: In 1788, 89, 91 & 95 she signed her name, Ann Houser, Now Ann Hoover, the wife of Jacob Hoover, on a number of land indentures. These indentures were made in conjunction with her 2 sons, Martin and Jacob Houser, and their wives, which eliminates the possibility that there was a different Ann Hauser, Now Ann Hoover, with husband Jacob Hoover. Ann Hoover (made her mark -x) & her husband, Jacob Hoover, and Martin Houser (Jr) & his wife, Anna Hoover/Houser, and Jacob Houser & his wife Lovicy Brumbaugh/Hoover, all signed several indentures with affidavits being included from those who were yet living in Washington County, Maryland.
:: :: It seems clear from these indentures, that Jacob Hoover's 1st wife, Anna Christina (Guth/Good)/Hooover, had died prior to the 1788 date, which is the earliest date on these indentures; and that Martin Houser Sr's wife, Anna (LNU) Houser/Hoover, & mother of Martin Houser, Jr., (1756-1840) married the father-in-law of 2 of her children. Her son, Martin Houser, Jr., (1756-1840) married the daughter of Jacob Hoover (1726-1800) & Anna Christina Guth/Good (1730-bef 1788), Anna Nancy Hoover/ Houser (1758-1836), & Anna (LNU) Houser/Hoover's youngest dauhter, Anna Catherine Houser/Hoover (1764-1836), married the 4th son of Jacob Hoover (1726-1800), Rev. Christian Hoover, died in 1817, the younger widow, Anna Catherina Houser/Hoover, (1764-1836) married Rev. George Brumbaugh, (1731-1838) another Brethren minister.
